For 17 years Susan's work has been large scale realistic oil paintings of landscapes showing the diversity of Western Australia.

​

Not so secretly she has a passion for collecting silk. She has used it as her medium to make abstracted images and incorporated it with wool producing felt. She is enjoying this fresh playful exploration in textiles producing unique pieces with strong natural and geological influences.

She is embracing this departure from her most recent participation in the Murajuga exhibition and curating ‘Creating Connections’.
