Jackie Davis

Jackie Davis’s artistic journey is a captivating exploration of her work and influences. For over two decades, she dedicated her career to psychiatric social work in London, supporting young adults struggling with severe depression. Painting and exhibiting became her refuge, allowing her to embrace light and colour. This period saw the full development of her mature style, characterised by a vibrant palette inspired by her surroundings. She captured the essence of the countryside, mountains, trees, flowers and sky in her work.

This analysis and meditation on the natural world nourishes her inner vision Jackie is a qualified homeopath, psychologist and art teacher. In 2008 she relocated to Perth from Qatar with her family, where she was inspired by the luminous colours of the Australian bush. Jackie’s artistic vocabulary is extensive, but her love for the Australian bush remains her greatest muse and constant source of inspiration. Her work is a harmonious blend of visually striking compositions and bold contrasting colours. Currently residing in Darlington in the Perth Hills, Jackie continues to paint the vibrant local environment in bright joyful colours.
