Julie enjoys working in her well appointed studio, with inspiration drawn from the natural beauty of the John Forrest National Park location. Unique pottery pieces are decorated with intricate carved designs and attractive glaze colour combinations with precise attention to detail. Recently she has been creating a range of ceramic sculptures, resulting in a very exciting outcome to these individual pieces. She also creates large abstract paintings incorporating metals, such as stainless steel and brass. Profile cut shapes with laser etched patterns enhance the paintings, adding depth and subtle reflections of light throughout the day.
