Art was my favourite subject at school and I have always been a crafty person, most of my working life has had something to do with colour, shape or form. After my children matured, I went to Tafe to study Visual arts, and have completed Cert IV and my Diploma in Visual arts. My Advanced Diploma is still a work in progress. I have exhibited my artworks at “Atwell house, Perth Royal show, Rutherglen, Darlington Arts Festival, Minnawarra Art, Belmont Art and Bitches Brew Gallery”. It is always interesting to seeing what other artists are doing and selling. In 2016 I started Hills Visual Artistry and have had the pleasure of hosting a watercolour experience at Olive Farm Winery in the Swan Valley.

For a while I was volunteering at Citiplace which is a senior’s centre in the city where I was able to teach drawing, painting, sculpture. In the northern suburbs I had the privilege of teaching home schooled children. They were provided with a visual diary and studied some indigenous art, master painters, colour theory, sculpture. I meet regularly with a group of artists on a Saturday where we explore art techniques. Here I met my fellow artist and since I had my first Mundaring Open Studio’s last year.
