Working primarily in stoneware Michelle focuses on wheel-thrown forms, embracing organic shapes and glazes that reflect a connection to material and process. Each piece is a meditation on rhythm, patience, and the dialogue between hands and clay. Based in Darlington, Michelle has been creating since childhood and came to pottery 7 years ago under the guidance of renowned potter Frank Smith. Michelle seeks to create pieces that invite touch, use, and quiet reflection.
