Sue Coffey

Born in Broken Hill Sue was raised in a richly creative environment that deeply shaped her artistic journey. She is the daughter of Pat Coffey, a well-known artist whose passion and commitment to painting greatly influenced Sue from an early age growing up immersed in art and creative conversation gave her a strong foundation and lifelong appreciation for visual expression while inspired by the expensive outback landscape and unique light of her hometown.

Sue‘s work has evolved into a more contemporary style today she embraces vibrant colour pallets and expressive compositions creating paintings that are bold, energetic and emotionally engaging her art reflects confidence curiosity and a willingness to experiment now retired. She devotes her time fully to her creative practice exploring a variety of mediums and techniques this freedom has allowed her to expand her artistic boundaries continually discovering new textures, material materials and forms of express expression.
