Artist Bio Tanya Jaceglav is the artist behind Forrest Road Studios, based in Walyalup (Fremantle) Western Australia. Her creative journey started more than thirty years ago with a Bachelor of fine Arts Degree from Curtin University majoring in painting. Tanya has received numerous awards and prizes for her painting and her work is held in both state and private collections.

Today, Tanya creates slip-cast porcelain pieces from her sunlit studio in Walyalup, where the coastal light, garden surrounds, and unique flora and fauna of Western Australia continue to shape her practice. Combining a lifelong painting practice with porcelain, each piece is individually finished and hand-painted , celebrating the tone, detail and quiet wonder of the natural world. Balancing beauty with function, her work invites connection, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation of the natural world
