My Art practice draws inspiration from the natural surroundings in which I live on the Darling Scarp, adjacent to the Helena River. I respond to my connection to the land with vibrant colour and bold impressionist marks in contemporary landscape paintings.   After 40 years as an art teacher, I’ve transitioned into life as a full-time visual artist—bringing a lifetime of technique, discipline, and creative insight into my own studio practice.             

I have held three solo exhibitions at local Art Centres and collaborated with the Gwobba Koort yarning group to run printmaking workshops.  Creating the Creekline Studio provides me with gallery space to invite viewing of my work and an opportunity to discuss the joy of making art.
