Katrina Rogers

Drawing inspiration from her local environment as well as the diverse cultures she has encountered on her travels, Katrina sculpts clay into captivating pieces that embody the essence of nature. She has always been drawn to the organic nature of clay and attempts to convey the beauty of nature through her creations.

She loves the process of Pit Firing which reflects the rugged, raw beauty and delicate balance of the Australian bush in which she grew up. Other pieces evoke the landscapes from her travels and connect with place and memories.

Katrina’s work includes pit fired pieces, abstract sculptural forms and functional ware.
