Workshops & Demos

Come and make a small kiln formed piece using glass pieces, frit and glass powder. You can make coasters or xmas decorations. This will give you a taste of how glass fusing works. No experience necessary. You will assembling small pieces of coloured glass, frit and powders onto prepared bases. These will be fired over a 24 hour period and posted to you if you can't collect. Get you creative juices flowing. There is a fee to cover cost of glass, firing and post. Coaster $25 each Xmas Decoration $25 each Pay on day. Booking not required. There is a limit of 6 people at a time. It will take less than an hour to assemble the glass. You can come at any time between dates below.

Demonstrating the various techniques of throwing on the wheel to create a number of forms plus coil and throw making larger vessels

Create a spring themes, nature inspired acrylic piece using the reverse painting technique. All materials & light lunch will be included. Max limit 6 people Booking must be secured with payment for catering and materials. cost $120

Create a beautiful unique decorated tile or tiles from clay. House number, a picture, shoes off sign or whatever. Or create an echidna. You can also create an animal fish or bird out of clay. Join Sue in a mini workshop suitable for beginners to get an introduction to drawing. How to see like an artist sees, that is the first step into drawing for interested people. Max 6 persons per session Pencils, charcoal & paper supplied. Free Booking essential

We will do 2 or 3 fun, loose, charcoal drawings - great loosening up exercises which get your eye in before you start drawing or painting. Bring your imagination and a carefree attitude! It will take about an hour or so. Morning tea provided. Please email any questions you might have. Cost $20
