Bernard’s work is featured in international collections and publications. He is also an author concerning Australian ceramics.He is interested in landscape and still-life painting, the relationships between images and objects how their meaning is altered when constructed in three dimensions in the ceramic medium.Other aspects of Bernard’s work reference the Western Australian landscape’s ancient eroded landforms and the wildflowers that have evolved in it, especially in the terrain of the Perth Hills.
