Greg established his pottery in Hovea in 1980. He works in stoneware using gas and wood kilns and is interested in using local materials, clays for clay bodies, in slips and glazes and particularly developing glazes using local wood ash.
Greg has exhibited for over 40 years, locally, in other states and internationally. He was a ceramics lecturer for 28 years with TAFE in Perth and Sydney and has also taught and run workshops extensively in WA and overseas.
He produces a wide range of thrown pottery varying in scale from coffee mugs to large jugs, bottles and lidded vessels.
