Olwyn is a passionate painter who uses acrylic paints on canvass with various mediums to enhance both texture and depth of her artworks and is not limited to any one type of subject matter, from portraits and animals to some of the wonders of nature.

She quite often uses her own momentary encounters as inspiration for her artwork. Recently she has drawn on subject matter from the surrounding walks in the local hills to create artworks of gum tree flowers, such as, one titled Fairyfloss.
