Glass

My glass journey began with a scientific glass blowing course at university as part of a science degree. Having explored stained glass techniques and flameworking, I have gravitated to various warm glass techniques such as kiln forming, casting and murrine making.

My works include everything from large wall pieces, functional art (bowls, plates, etc.) to sculptures in glass. I am very excited to introduce a new “Leaf” series at this Open Studios. My “leaves”, made from murrine and hand pulled cane are supported by stands made from native timber and forged steel made by Caine Scott.
