Mike continues his interest in ceramic sculptural forms from archeology. This includes the Mesopotamian and South American regions and Celtic and Byzantium imagery.

This year he is concentrating on raku bodies and glazes fired in a wood kiln. These clay bodies are of local clays from Sawyers Valley to Swan View. Mike’s work is unique, innovative and exploratory.
