Laula Perey’s arts practice is inspired by her appreciation for the natural environment and the diversity of life within it. For nearly a decade she has been honing her skills in making unique handcrafted feather and seed pod earrings.

Every feather and seed pod used in her art is sourced ethically from bush walks, natural moulting’s and found birds.

​

This process of sourcing imbues each of her works with a narrative of where they were found and from where they came, be they, bird or tree.
